Located in Downtown Buffalo New York, the HSBC Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena that most notably serves as home to the Buffalo Sabres of the NHL. The HSBC Arena is western New York’s premier sports and entertainment facility, hosting concerts, ice shows, sporting events, and family entertainment for all ages. Known simply as “The Arena” to Buffalo residents, the facility has two public levels, two private levels, 80 suites and 5,000 club seats. Enter The Pavilion, a 330' long by 65' high glass-enclosed structure that serves as the major entrance/exit for the arena. The centerpiece of the arena is a huge eight sided scoreboard with Sabres logos which snort out smoke each time the home team scores a goal. The Team Store, at 5,000 square feet, is one of the largest in-arena merchandise stores in the NHL.
This sleek yet intimate modern arena can draw a maximum crowd of 18,595, while concerts can bring up to 20,500 people. In its short history since opening in September 1996 this $127 million entertainment venue has been home to some of the greatest acts and sporting events in the world.
